Drawing Objects

A state diagram comprises seven types of objects: states, boxes, functions, transitions, default transitions, history junctions, and connective junctions. Stateflow provides tools for creating instances of each of these types of objects. The Transition tool, used to draw transitions, is available by default. You select and deselect the other tools by clicking their icons in the Stateflow editor's object palette.

You use the tools by clicking and dragging the cursor in the editor's drawing area. For more information, see the following topics:
