RS-232 Driver Blocks

xPC Target supports RS-232 communication with four driver blocks and message structures in the MATLAB workspace:

• RS-232 Setup - You need one Setup block for each RS-232 port you use in your model. Sends the initialize and termination messages.
• RS-232 Send & Receive (Synchronous Mode) - Sequences the send and receive messages for synchronous serial communication.
• RS232 Send Block (Asynchronous Mode) - Sequences the send messages.
• RS232 Receive Block (Asynchronous Mode) - Sequences the receive messages.
