xPC Target

Files on the Host PC Computer

When using xPC Target, you may find it helpful to know where files are located:

• MATLAB working directory - Simulink models (model.mdl), xPC Target applications (model.dlm)

Note select a working directory outside of the MATLAB root. See Initial Working Directory

• RTW working directory - The RTW C-code files (model.c, model.h) are in a subdirectory called model_xpc_rtw.

xPC Target uses the directories and files located in C:\MATLABROOT\Toolbox\rtw\targets\xpc:

• target - Files and functions related to the xPC Target kernel and build process
• xpc - Functions related overall to xPC Target, methods for target objects, and methods for scope objects
• xpcdemos - Simulink models and M-file demos.
