Using the Signal Processing Toolbox
The Signal Processing Toolbox provides two categories of tools:
- Signal processing command line functions
- A suite of graphical user interfaces for:
- Interactive filter design
- Signal plotting and analysis
- Spectral analysis
- Filtering signals
- Analyzing filter designs
The sections below cover how to use these functions and graphical user interfaces to perform a variety of signal processing operations.
- Filter Design -- explains how to apply the filter design tools to Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) and Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter design problems
- Statistical Signal Processing -- explains the correlation and covariance functions and discusses the mathematically related functions for estimating the power spectrum
- Special Topics -- describes some of the signal processing techniques you can perform using the toolbox including windowing, parametric modeling, and cepstrum analysis
- Filter Design and Analysis Tool -- walks you through a typical filter design session using the FDATool
- SPTool: A Signal Processing GUI Suite -- provides an overview of SPTool as well as examples to illustrate its use.
