Generating Block Comments
When the Insert block descriptions in code option is selected, comments are inserted into the code generated for any blocks that have text in their Description fields. To generate block comments:
- Right-click on the block you want to comment. Select Block Properties from the context menu. The Block Properties dialog box opens.
- Type the comment into the Description field.
- Select the Insert block descriptions in code option in the Ada-specific code generation options category of the Real-Time Workshop page.
| Note
For virtual blocks or blocks that have been removed due to block reduction optimizations, no comments are generated.
