Gain
and Phase Margins
The Bode magnitude and phase plots automatically
display gain and phase margins of the open-loop control system. The display
also shows the frequencies at which the magnitude and phase cross 0 db
and -180 respectively.

To turn off the gain and phase margin displays,
uncheck Stability Margins under Show in the Bode diagram
right-click menu.

If the gain or phase margin is infinite,
Inf
is displayed.
When the gain or phase margin is finite,
red markers display the phase. This picture shows an example with the markers
activated.
