Current Compensator Panel

The Current Compensator panel automatically displays the transfer function of the current compensator.

• To change the compensator gain, enter the desired value in the edit box and press Enter. The root locus and Bode diagrams automatically update.
  
• To edit the compensator dynamics, double click on the panel. This opens the Edit Compensator window. You can add and delete poles and zeros to your compensator with this window.
  
• To change the view from the time constant format to zero/pole/gain format, select Properties under Edit from the toolbar. This opens the Properties Editor.
  
• If you see NumC or DenC, increase the size of the SISO Design Tool to see the compensator's transfer function.
