Random Source Generation
The Bernoulli Random Binary Generator block, in the Comm Sources library, produces the information source for this simulation. The block generates one random bit at each sample time. Double-click on the block to open the parameter dialog box, also called its mask, as shown below.
For this demo, the block's output should be frame-based. The entry in the Samples per frame field determines the number of rows of the ouput frame. For example, if you set Samples per frame to 3
, the output will be a 3-by-1 column vector. See Signal Attribute Parameters for Random Sources for details.
Note: The size of the output frame must be compatible with the length of the Puncture vector parameter in the Puncture Block. See the section Puncturing. |
