Stopping the Simulation

BER simulations typically run until a minimum number of errors have occurred, or until the simulation processes a maximum number of bits. The Stop Simulation subsystem, created for this example, sets these limits and writes the final BER data to the MATLAB workspace. Note: this Stop Simulation subsystem is not the Stop Simulation block contained in the Simulink library.

Double click on the block to bring up the mask, as shown below.

The Target number of errors sets the lower limit on the number of errors to be observed. The Maximum number of bits sets the upper limit on the number of bits processed.
