Tutorial Scripts
----------------

The files in this directory are WorkShop Visual designs (<filename>.xd) and 
WorkShop Visual Replay scripts (<filename>.xds). 

The scripts follow the tutorial in chapters 2 to 7 of the user guide.

They have been included to allow you to follow the tutorial in the user 
guide and see whats going on before trying it yourself.

Note that WorkShop Visual must be started in this directory for the filename
references to work correctly in the File Open dialog.


The scripts can be played back using the following methods.

1.	At the command prompt type:

		visu_replay -f <filename> visu 

	This will open WorkShop Visual and play the script through to the end. 
	You will have no control over the playback. 

2.	Alternativly you can open WorkShop Visual in the usual manner by typing:

		visu

	Once WorkShop Visual is running you can invoke WorkShop Visual Replay from the Tools menu.

		- Select Tools on the menu bar.
		- Select WorkShop Visual Replay from the Tools menu.

		- In the dialog box type the path for visu in the text 
		  box next to the Executable button.
		  Or browse for the path by pressing the Executable button.
		- Press Ok in the dialog box.

	WorkShop Visual will open another WorkShop Visual session window and the 
	WorkShop Visual Replay control panel.

	In the WorkShop Visual Replay control panel:

		- Select Directory from the menu bar.
		- Select Open. Press Ok.

	(By starting WorkShop Visual from this directory, the path to the script 
	 files is set, as the path defaults to the current directory)

	Now in the WorkShop Visual Replay control panel you will see the scripts 
	avaliable to you.

	To run a script, select it with a single click. 
	(The selected script will be highlighted.)

	Click on the Play button.

	The playback speed can be varied using the slider on the control 
	panel.
	
	For further instructions on how to operate the replay facility 
	please refer to the user guide.

	DO NOT SAVE CHANGES TO THE .xd FILES AT THE END OF THESE TUTORIAL 
	SCRIPTS.
