.SYNOPSIS...A storm system will affect the area this afternoon 
into Saturday morning with breezy winds and moderate rainfall 
expected. These impacts will ease thru the day Saturday, yielding 
generally dry conditions Sunday and Monday. By Tuesday, the next 
round of rain is expected, which is expected to continue into 
Wednesday. A ridge of high pressure is expected by the end of 
next week, which will make for a dry forecast.

.IMPACTS...Stormy weather will create difficult backcountry 
skiing and mountaineering conditions across much of the alpine 
terrain of Mt. Rainier, including the Muir snowfield. Blizzard-
like conditions with strong winds and near zero visibility are 
likely. A high level of skill and experience in alpine terrain, 
including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and camping in
these conditions.

.FRIDAY...Breezy. Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the
morning, then rain and snow in the afternoon. Snow accumulation
near Paradise of 2 to 5 inches. Snow level near 3500 feet. 
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Windy. Rain and snow. Snow accumulation near
Paradise of 3 to 6 inches. Snow level near 4000 feet increasing
to 7000 feet after midnight. 
.SATURDAY...Breezy. Showers likely in the morning, then cloudy
with a chance of showers in the afternoon. Snow accumulation near
Paradise up to 1 inch. Total snow accumulation near Paradise 5 to
12 inches. Snow level near 5500 feet decreasing to 4000 feet in
the afternoon. 
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Cloudy with a chance of showers. Snow level
near 3500 feet. 
.SUNDAY...Rain and snow likely. Light snow accumulations. Snow
level near 3000 feet.
